About us
Real astrology,
made personal
A horoscope written for one-twelfth of the planet can't tell you much about you. Your birth chart can.
Why we built it
Most horoscopes only use your Sun sign — one placement out of dozens. That's why the reading in the paper never quite sounds like you: it's describing one-twelfth of everyone alive. We started Life Path Astrology to do the opposite — to build readings from your whole chart: the interplay of your Sun, Moon and Rising, the planets, the houses, and the aspects between them.
That's the difference between a reading that feels like a fortune cookie and one that makes you stop and think, how did it know that? Our aim is to make that depth of astrology genuinely useful — and genuinely personal — for everyone.
How we calculate your chart
Every chart on this site is calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris — the same high-precision planetary data used by professional astrologers and astronomers worldwide. When you enter your date, time and place of birth, we compute the exact position of every planet, your Rising sign, your house cusps and the aspects between your placements, accurate to the degree.
This is why your birth time matters so much: your Rising sign changes roughly every two hours, and it anchors your entire house system. Get the time right and your chart is genuinely yours — not a rough sketch shared by everyone born the same month.
Our editorial standards
Astrology is a tool for reflection, and we take writing it seriously. Every reading and overview is grounded in the real position of the planets for the date in question — we don't invent transits or recycle vague generalities. Each piece is produced by our editorial team through a careful, multi-step process for accuracy, clarity and tone before it's published.
We write in plain, warm British English, we avoid fortune-teller clichés, and we're honest about what astrology is and isn't. You'll never see us promise to predict the future or replace real professional advice. Our aim is simpler, and we think more useful: to help you understand yourself a little better.
